What screen size should I use?

The size of the screen depends on the environment in which it is installed: a small screen for a small space, a large screen when you have a lot of distance. The typical sizes most used in digital signage are 43", 50" and 55". The visibility ratio is 5x the diagonal of the screen.

I have questions about the use of the solution and its payment

No problem, we have created a complete documentation base to answer all your questions. You can also contact the chat (bottom right of the site) to have a live account manager.

Can I use any type of screen/TV for digital signage?

Yes, as long as the screen has an HDMI port it can be used with Comeen Play (formerly DynamicScreen). The most suitable hardware is the professional monitors. Depending on the brand of the screen, you may or may not need to use a player. Comeen Play (formerly DynamicScreen) is directly integrated in Samsung professional monitors (compatible ranges).

Does my screen or player need to be connected to the network? Wifi or wired?

Yes, it is an essential prerequisite for digital signage. To control your screens remotely, and send them content, they must be connected to the network so that you have access. Wifi or wired, it depends on the hardware you have selected. Today, most hardware (player or screen) has both. The wired connection is still the most stable.

I already have players or screens on my digital signage system, can I reuse them with Comeen Play?

There is a good chance that yes 👍 Comeen Play is compatible with many OS: ChromOS, Android, Windows, Tizen from Samsung. Remains for you to study if the hardware is not obsolete.

What is the difference between a TV and a professional monitor?

Professional monitors are specially designed for digital signage.
- More robust, they can display 24/24 without loss of quality or overheating, and they are also brighter (Up to 5000 candelas, very practical for display in the window for example). You can also put them in the direction you want: portrait or landscape. The little extra: they do not have a TV tuner so the tax does not apply on this type of screen.
- For the TV, it also works, but it is the opposite: less visible because less bright, limited life (a TV is made to work 4h/day), no portrait mode (the screen overheats).

What speed do I need to send content to my screen?

No minimum speed, the higher it is, the faster your content will be delivered to your screen. The other parameter to take into account is the stability of your connection (the more there is a micro network cut, the more the content will take time to arrive on the screen).

Are there any special network settings I need to make to make my screen or player work?

2 network ports to open: 80 and 443. Don't worry, they are usually already open for your daily uses.
